The couple spent their honeymoon
For Melbourners Shaun, 36 & Sarah, 33, working for the same airline was a great way to get to know each other's persona better.
Virgin Blue pilot Shaun O'Halloran & air hostess Sarah Burns tied the knot on September 4, 2010 at the Outrigger on the Lagoon.
"We were together for 5 years before marriage & have a attractive daughter Georgina who was our flower girl at the ceremony," they added.
"Marriage means to finally have the woman of my dreams become my attractive wife, " says Shaun.
Shaun says they is drawn to Sarah's looks & her astounding persona, adding that "she is an brilliant brother to my daughter".
Shaun, who loves playing golf, flying, fishing & cooking, says they first met at work on an overnight at a hotel gym. "We had dinner that night & from then they knew it was love at first sight," they says.
"Marriage means a life long mate to share all of your joys & sorrows," Sarah says.
& what does Sarah love about her husband? "His strength of character, his kindness & generosity & naturally his dashing looks!" she says.
She loves travelling & experiencing news cultures, golf, cooking & gardening.
"We selected to wed in Fiji as they wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding. We've both been to Fiji before & fell in love with the country & the people," the couple said.
"My wedding dress is by the couture designer Martina Liana who is an Australian designer. My hair & makeup was styled at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji Wavelengths & my shoes are from Alan Pinkus in Melbourne," Sarah explains.
"I wanted a romantic dress made from Parisian silk. My bridesmaids were Carice Taggell, ( servant of honour) Caroline Wilson, Karen Betts & Anna O'Halloran. Our daughter Georgina was a flower girl".
Sarah's bridesmaids wore elementary style dresses made in silk dupiani with a tropical twist of reds & oranges.
Shaun wore a slim fit grey suit with a white shirt & ivory tie. His groomsmen were Damien Sanford, Eden Warhurst, Peter Whitbourne & Will Dowty.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Lomani Island.
