The couple spent their honeymoon

For Melbourners Shaun, 36 & Sarah, 33, working for the same airline was a great way to get to know each other's persona better.

Virgin Blue pilot Shaun O'Halloran & air hostess Sarah Burns tied the knot on September 4, 2010 at the Outrigger on the Lagoon.

"We were together for 5 years before marriage & have a attractive daughter Georgina who was our flower girl at the ceremony," they added.

"Marriage means to finally have the woman of my dreams become my attractive wife, " says Shaun.

Shaun says they is drawn to Sarah's looks & her astounding persona, adding that "she is an brilliant brother to my daughter".

Shaun, who loves playing golf, flying, fishing & cooking, says they first met at work on an overnight at a hotel gym. "We had dinner that night & from then they knew it was love at first sight," they says.

"Marriage means a life long mate to share all of your joys & sorrows," Sarah says.

& what does Sarah love about her husband? "His strength of character, his kindness & generosity & naturally his dashing looks!" she says.

She loves travelling & experiencing news cultures, golf, cooking & gardening.

"We selected to wed in Fiji as they wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding. We've both been to Fiji before & fell in love with the country & the people," the couple said.

"My wedding dress is by the couture designer Martina Liana who is an Australian designer. My hair & makeup was styled at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji Wavelengths & my shoes are from Alan Pinkus in Melbourne," Sarah explains.

"I wanted a romantic dress made from Parisian silk. My bridesmaids were Carice Taggell, ( servant of honour) Caroline Wilson, Karen Betts & Anna O'Halloran. Our daughter Georgina was a flower girl".

Sarah's bridesmaids wore elementary style dresses made in silk dupiani with a tropical twist of reds & oranges.

Shaun wore a slim fit grey suit with a white shirt & ivory tie. His groomsmen were Damien Sanford, Eden Warhurst, Peter Whitbourne & Will Dowty.

The couple spent their honeymoon at Lomani Island.

Free the Free Radicals

But then a few years ago, researchers from the University of Valencia in Spain & the University of Wisconsin in Madison set out to study what would happen in the event you tried to prevent exercising muscles from generating free radicals. we had laboratory rats run on small treadmills until we were exhausted. a quantity of the rats had been injected with a powerful, pharmaceutical-grade antioxidant that works in the body to halt the production of most free radicals. After the rats ran, the researchers measured the levels of  a few substances in their leg muscles. Not surprisingly, the injected rats showed  no free-radical activity. we were virtually immune to what scientists had thought about a kind of bodily damage.

Phys Ed: Free the Free Radicals
We’re all used to hearing that everything we one time thought was lovely for us is not. But even within that framework, the latest science about antioxidants, free radicals & exercise is telling. As lots of of us have heard, free radicals are molecules created by the breakdown of oxygen in the course of metabolism. Each of us constantly creates free radicals basically by living & breathing. But these molecules are highly reactive & capricious, sometimes attacking other cells & damaging tissue. Wilding free radicals have been linked with  a few diseases & with aging. Exercise, because it requires increased oxygen consumption, also increases the production of free radicals. So, lots of specialists began urging the fitness-minded to pop giant doses of antioxidant vitamin supplements, like vitamins C & E, to counteract the presumed damaging effects of the free radicals. Food alone would not supply sufficient levels of the necessary antioxidants, it was thought. The exercising body needed help from vitamins.
